Rob From The Rich In Black Site Studios’ Outlaws – Coming Soon!

Black Site Studios is working on all sorts of games behind the scenes but one that has caught my eye is Outlaws: The Curse of Sherwood. I really like the legends and myths behind Robin Hood and so seeing a game in that style popping up, I was immediately intrigued.

Outlaws is in the early stages of development and will be coming to Gamefound later this year. It will be steeped in the Fantasy and folklore of Robin Hood but with some dark additions and a little bit of a twist to what you might expect.

As a solo and cooperative game, the players will take on the role of four members of the outlaw warband, struggling to survive in the depths of Sherwood Forest under the yoke of the cruel Sheriff. These outlaws and your companions will face off against the Sheriff of Nottingham and the monsters that start through the shadows.

Narrative objectives will drive each game alongside storytelling and tense, cinematic moments. You will need to work together and decide how to approach your scenarios. You will even control the enemy forces that will react to your unfolding story.

At the heart of this all will be a celebration of kitbashing and creativity, where you create your band of outlaws alongside the warped soldiers, twisted by the shadows of Sherwood, alongside broken heroes and more. This sounds ace.
