More Dropzone Commander Infantry Hits 10mm Sci-Fi Battlefields
October 20, 2026 by brennon
TTCombat has expanded on their options for Dropzone Commander with even more infantry hitting their 10mm Sci-Fi battlefields. There are options for all of the factions to choose from, ranging from elite veterans to hulking brutes and terrifying monsters.
PHR Longreach Snipers // Dropzone Commander
We start with the PHR, maybe the coolest of the factions in Dropzone Commander? Here, we have the Longreach Snipers who, as you might have guessed, can take out your targets from long range. Their camouflage cloaks allow them to get into the right place on the battlefield before unleashing their large-calibre, high-velocity rounds into infantry, turning them into mist, and taking chunks out of vehicles. The miniatures look slick and cool, two traits that the PHR have in abundance. Some very cool figures that would look great with a variety of different helmet colours.
More battle-hardened killers are on the way in the form of the Resistance Occupation Veterans.
Resistance Occupation Veterans // Dropzone Commander
These veterans have been hardened in the crucible of combat, having had to deal with alien occupation by the Scourge. They are an unrelenting enemy and therefore these troops are equally so. These Veterans make use of alien technology and turn it against their foes. Admittedly, they don't really know how to make the best use of them and so often find themselves overcharging their plasma rifles and burning them out before scavenging for something new. Again, these miniatures are looking awesome and help to tell the story of the Resistance on the tabletop.
Capping off the (relatively) human elements of Dropzone Commander, we have the UCM and their Praetorians.
UCM Praetorians // Dropzone Commander
The Praetorians stand above the standard Legionnaires of the UCM because they are more skilled, better trained and incredibly aggressive. They are incredibly happy to do a bit of breach and clear on the battlefield, using the likes of Raven Light Troopships to drop right into the heart of the fighting and on top of objectives. A slick and deadly-looking collection of miniatures that will be a welcome addition to a UCM force.
Moving over to the alien side of things, we have the Shaltari and their Pungari.
Shaltari Pungari // Dropzone Commander
The Pungari are devoted to their Shaltari masters and will die in great numbers if it serves their will. Whilst they don't have much in the way of individual skill or merit, if you collect together enough of them and give them big weapons, they should be able to hit something with a withering amount of firepower. They look a lot like the classic Grunts of Halo but for the Dropzone Commander universe. Make sure to throw these into all sorts of dangerous situations so you can keep the rest of your Shaltari alive.
Slithering forward onto the battlefield, you also have the Scourge Razorworms.
Scourge Razorworms // Dropzone Commander
These terrors dwell in the dark places of occupied worlds and slink through the shadows looking for prey to drag off into the depths. As you might imagine, these Razorworms are usually let off the leash rather than tactically deployed. I wouldn't want to be a UCM soldier fighting their way through a building whilst one of these is burrowing its way up through the ground. They look suitably terrifying and fun for a Scourge player to use in-game.
Last but not least, we have more miniatures for the newest faction to be added to the Dropzone/Dropfleet universe. See what you make of the Bioficer Hulks.
Bioficer Hulks // Dropzone Commander
Hulks are bigger, taller, bulked-up versions of the standard Drones that the Bioficers bring to the battlefield. They have no qualms about ripping a human in half or hugging incredibly heavy weaponry into place to utterly destroy your enemies. Whilst they are big and heavy, these Hulks are actually quite fast and can make use of their weapons to hunt infantry, armour and even aircraft. They look suitably body-horror-themed for the Bioficers and I'm sure folks are going to take plenty of them!
All of the miniatures that you see here are available to pre-order now as resin kits. You can find more of the miniatures HERE and dive deeper into what else TTCombat has released recently for the new edition of Dropzone Commander.
What do you make of the new 10mm infantry from TTCombat?
