Kromlech Kick Off Orktober With DUNE-Inspired Vehicles & More

Kromlech are celebrating Orktober 2026 with some DUNE-inspired vehicles and more for your Sci-Fi wargames. They have started off with the addition of the Orc Dust-Chomper to their Sand Orcs collection, with more to come.

This is another genius (mad) creation from the Orc Engineers of the Sand Riderz. This has been designed as a colossal machine of destruction that can bring loads of vehicles and troops into the heart of the fighting. It is also a mobile base of operations, bristling with guns and ready to cause all sorts of chaos for anyone who dares come near it.

The set comes in HDF but with additional plastic parts which can be used to bring it to life and add further details. You'll find more elements like tracks, weapons, hatches and pipes in there. It is absolutely massive as you'll see in the scale comparison image below.

Stick this right in the middle of your battlefield and you've got something seriously fun to fight over. I like the idea of this being set over some ancient ruin on a desert planet which the forces of law and order really need to secure before the Orcs blow something up.

More To Come...

As well as the Dust-Chomper, Kromlech has also teased more for Orktober, including these Giant Dust Gnaws.

I don't think these are the worms that you were looking for. I don't know if they'd take too kindly to being ridden either. I think they look great, though and give you an idea of what Kromlech has been working on. I would guess that we're going to be seeing some awesome infantry and more coming out for the Sand Orcs. Watch this space.

What do you make of the Dust-Chomper as a way into Orktober 2026?
