Monster Fight Club has announced a brand-new game set in the world of The Witcher. The Witcher: No Man's Land will allow you to dive into the world from Andrzej Sapkowski's books as well as the video game series by CD Projekt Red.

Geralts Warband - The Witcher No Mans Land

Geralt's Warband // The Witcher: No Man's Land

At the heart of the game's launch will be a brand-new two-player starter set that allows you to start playing quickly and easily. No Man's Land will make use of the [RE]action System that folks might be aware of from their Cyberpunk: Combat Zone skirmish game, which does away with rounds and phases and makes for a really dynamic, fast-paced and intense skirmish experience.

The set will come with two 32mm scale miniature warbands and two extra monster miniatures as well as a playmat, scenery, cards, dice, tokens and the rulebook so you can start playing. Whilst the game features a factionless system so you can choose whatever miniatures you like, the game will come with pre-built warbands like the ones seen here, giving you a good starting point for the game.

Lethos Warband - The Witcher No Mans Land

Letho's Warband // The Witcher: No Man's Land

For example, Geralth's warband (top) is themed around the mustering of a small town to defend it against bandits or perhaps a terrifying beast that is threatening the inhabitants. You get a Farmer, a Blacksmith, magical support from a Sorceress, and then a Surgeon who is there to treat your wounds. They are then led by the legendary Geralt himself.

Letho's Warband (above), by contrast, is a set of professional killers. Letho leads the way but you also have a Captain, Soldier, Crossbowman and a Priest in the mix. A great set of professional soldiers and their hangers-on who are there to make sure that the contract is fulfilled for their lord or lady.

The set also comes with Monsters that you'll need to either hunt or face down during your scenarios, throwing your plans into disarray.

Monsters - The Witcher No Mans Land

Monsters // The Witcher: No Man's Land

The pack contains a Griffon, one of the first creatures that you face down in the latest video game and a Striga. These monsters act as threats to both warbands so you might end up having to work together to take them down before you turn your attention back on each other.

If you'd like to learn more about the mechanics that are driving No Man's Land, you can check out the full preview from Monster Fight Club HERE. Plus, you can actually get your hands on the current plastic range of The Witcher miniatures already and get a head start by heading over to their website for more. They have the main characters, different bestial threats, NPCs and hangers-on.

I think this sounds like it's going to be great fun and could well be a way to drag people into playing games using Monster Fight Club's [RE]action System, especially if they're more fans of Fantasy than Sci-Fi.

Are you going to be keeping an eye on this?
