New Star Wars: Legion Mandalorians Now Up For Pre-Order
April 27, 2026 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games are now taking pre-orders for the new Mandalorians for Sci-Fi wargame, Star Wars: Legion, giving you a chance to play as the mercenaries, blasters-for-hire and honourable warriors of all stripes. This is the way.
Mandalorian Army Box // Star Wars: Legion
This set, the Mandalorian Army Box, introduces a full 600-point Recon-level army that you can use for playing your first games of Star Wars: Legion. Inside, you'll find the special edition miniatures for Din Djarin and Grogu alongside a miniature for The Armourer and then a large collection of Mandalorian warriors who have been raised from their hidden places to fight back against the enemy.

You'll also get more miniatures covering the Mandalorian Warriors and Mandalorian Initiates, giving you a great selection of dynamic new plastic miniatures that can be painted in all sorts of different ways. The Mandalorians are warriors who pledge themselves to clans and creeds but they also wear very distinctive and unique armour. This means you could have a lot of fun individualising this force for the tabletop.
All in all, you'll get thirty-six miniatures alongside all of your unit cards, command cards and upgrade cards. Unlike other Starter Sets from Star Wars: Legion, you will need to buy the additional dice and other gubbins to get yourself playing but they are available from Atomic Mass.
Mandalorian Heroes
In addition to the main Army Box, you can also get your hands on a bunch of different sets to help guide the direction of your Mandalorians on the tabletop. A good starting point for that would be your Mandalorian Leaders.
Mandalorian Leaders // Star Wars: Legion
This set gives you the options for making two Commanders and two Operatives for use in your Mandalorian collection. You can use them to represent some of the iconic characters that you'd expect like The Armourer and Bo-Katan plus Axes Woves & Paz Vizsla.

Alongside the miniatures, you'll also get the command cards, unit cards and upgrade cards for tailoring your particular force of Mandalorians on the tabletop. Each of them brings their own tactical take to the tabletop, changing the battlefield to suit the way that you want to play. I think it'll be ace to see people creating forces based around these characters to match some of the key moments from the recent TV shows.
Elite Mandalorians
Continuing to theme your force in different ways, you also have a selection of elite options for the Mandalorians. For example, if you wanted to perhaps align yourself with Maul and the power he weilds then you could go for the Mandalorian Super Commandos.
Mandalorian Super Commandos // Star Wars: Legion
This represents some of the most dangerous soldiers in the galaxy. Wearing modified armour to match Lord Maul, they are going to be a brutal and efficient killing machine to unleash on your enemies and they'll look the part too!

This set allows you to deploy the Super Commandos onto the tabletop to fight alongside Lord Maul, inspired by the Death Watch uprising during the Clone Wars. Once again, this will come with all of the unit cards, upgrade cards and more that you'll need to drop into your games. Atomic Mass Games also recently re-released the Leaders of the Shadow Collective set which comes with Maul, Rook Kast and Gar Saxon to make that nice and easy!
If you'd prefer to throw your lot in with Clan Wren and the good guys then you can also get your hands on that set as well!
Clan Wren Mandalorians // Star Wars: Legion
This set allows you to build the members of Clan Wren, uniting with the Rebellion and fighting for freedom and liberation for Mandalore. You get another seven miniatures in this set, clad in their awesome armour and kitted out with their jetpacks which they use for mobility around the battlefield. Twin that with their expert precision with their weapons and you'll have a great set of troops for a more specialised look at the Mandalorians.

All of these miniatures are now available to pre-order and should be coming out for folks later this year in June. That means that you won't have long to wait before you can start crafting yourself a Mandalorian force.
Could you be tempted to dive in and get your hands on these new plastic Mandalorians? Which way would you go if you wanted to leap into Star Wars: Legion?
