Avatars of War are now taking orders for their awesome plastic Stone Trolls that you can use to bring some surly might to your Fantasy battlefields. You can snap up the Stone Trolls plastic regiment right now, ahead of a May release date, which is just around the corner.

The set comes with enough components for you to make a set of ten Stone Trolls armed with an array of brutal weapons capable of turning you into a thick paste. They are very much in the style of the classic Warhammer Fantasy Battles Stone Trolls, coming from the talented hand of Felix Paniagua.

You've got a nice selection of different options within the set for arming your Stone Trolls. You could go with tombstone-like "axes", brutal stone picks and other weapons fashioned out of bone and whatever statue the Troll last smashed to pieces. You've even got a hapless victim to swing around like a flail.

You also have some great alternative head options for the Stone Trolls, including some who are vomiting forth a tide of filth, which might just strip the flesh from your bones. The PVC plastic miniatures also come with bases which have slots in them for magnets, so you can get them sorted for storage and transportation.

For any seasoned user of Stone Trolls, there is also this awesome Stupidity Marker that you can pick up from Avatars of War.

This is another plastic miniature that you can just slot into your regiment should your Stone Trolls fail their check and stand around doing nothing at all. The "marker" is very characterful and shows a Stone Troll looking through what could well be the Dwarfs' Book of Grudges. I sense that might rile up a slayer or two who are seeking to go and chop some heads off.

All of these miniatures are coming out in May, so if you're looking to bulk out an Orc & Goblin army, this might be a good route to go.
