Warcrow’s Best Faction? Red Caps For Corvus Belli’s Fantasy Wargame
October 7, 2026 by brennon
Corvus Belli is taking pre-orders for possibly the best of their 32mm Fantasy miniatures for the skirmish game, Warcrow. The Red Caps are bounding onto tabletops and leading the way is the Red Caps Action Pack.
Nuada // Warcrow
The Red Cap Action Pack is a great starting point army for those wanting to dive into Warcrow with Nuada and his companions. If you liked the miniatures from Warcrow Adventures, then this is your next best chance to dive in and use them in the skirmish game.
Nuada himself is an elite commander and the centrepiece of your army. He radiates Hellboy energy and brings leadership and a range of adaptive buffs to his Red Caps. He's also a stunningly lovely miniature that I think is going to be a joy to paint.
Plaf, the Enraptured // Warcrow
The next of the characters is Plaf, the Enraptured. She is a support character who keeps your Red Caps cohesive. She also seems to have something other Red Caps are missing, some common sense. She also has an adorable little cat, so she can't be that bad, right?
Rac, The Greedy // Warcrow
We also have Rac, the Greedy, who charges into battle atop the back of his giant frog called Raña. He is a harasser in-game and can punish weakened enemies when he smashes into the heart of the enemy lines. Again, I really like the sculpting of the Red Caps, showcasing all of the character that oozes from the faction.
If you want to delve in and enjoy even more Red Cap madness, then there's also the brilliant Plum, the Slugger.
Plum, the Slugger // Warcrow
This fellow is an offensive support character who has a "tactical catapult" in the form of a megabeast bone bat. Yes, this means that he launches his allies into enemy lines. If your ammunition is living and can target just what you want to hit, surely that's better than a standard rock?
You can also start burning your way through the enemy with the Flamecobs.
Flamecobs // Warcrow
Flamecobs make use of unstable and homemade flamethrowers that will torch your enemies. They are even deadly when they get killed, exploding and inflicting damage to enemies nearby. The Action Pack also comes with The Choppers (in the Action Pack image below), who are your melee arm of the Red Caps.
Red Caps Action Pack // Warcrow
If this isn't enough Red Caps, you can also buy the first expansion to the Red Caps in the form of the Bugbowls.
Bugbowls // Warcrow
Bugbowls are your scouts that will crash through enemy lines or perhaps even soar through the air. They can be used as scouts and use their rolling charges to ram their enemies. They also serve as living ammunition for any catapults that you might have nearby. Maybe they could work alongside Plumb?
There is also a special Pre-Order miniature that you can get from Corvus Belli in the form of Anayram.
Anayram // Warcrow
Anayram is the Elven advisor and bodyguard to Nuada, who will protect the general from his enemies and himself. He doesn't shine in combat but when beside Nuada, he grants him additional wounds and the ability to reroll dice. This means Nuada is even more of a powerhouse on the tabletop.
He is available as part of the big Red Caps Exclusive Bundle from Corvus Belli but also through a variety of other retailers online as well.
What do you make of the new Red Caps for Corvus Belli's Warcrow?
