Warp Miniatures unleash a new set of Myths & Monsters on the wargaming world this month as they pivot from Egypt and head into the cold North with their Norse collection for September. See what you think of these new 32mm scale beasties.

Fenrir - Warp Miniatures

Fenrir // Warp Miniatures

This set is available to Patreon members in September. It includes some excellent creatures of myth and legend that would be perfect for all manner of tabletop skirmish games and roleplaying adventures. There are plenty of Norse-themed Fantasy miniature games that could do with an awesome Fenrir or a scampering Ratatoskr. I feel this one is specifically for Gerry.

Ratatoskr - Warp Miniatures

Ratatoskr // Warp Miniatures

This is the third and final set from Warp Miniatures that will explore myths and monsters and it's an epic one to end on. As you might have guessed, these miniatures are available as 3D-printable STL files that you'll get through your Patreon subscription. Get these printed off at home and get painting!

As much as I like little Ratatoskr, two of my favourites are probably the snarling Nidhoggr. He's probably annoyed that you just saw him gnawing away at the roots of Yggdrasil.

My second favourite has to be this Troll. He's not particularly special like the rest of these mythological creatures but he's a wonderful look at the folklore of Northern Europe. You just need to make sure that you're not a Christian and he'll stop rubbing his belly in delight. Or just shout TROLLLLLLL really loudly and run for your life.

Last but not least, you've got the legendary horse, Sleipnir, ridden by Odin himself. We all know that the more legs you have, the more socks you need. In this case, there is a very happy smith in Asgard who makes a pretty penny of Odin.

Sleipnir - Warp Miniatures

All of these miniatures are available throughout September and should give you some fun creatures to add to your collection for your Fantasy wargames. I think it would be neat to just paint these rather than feeling like you needed to play with them. I have always wanted to try out Alex's painting style on his figures, which uses watered-down paints to achieve a very painterly effect.

Make sure to go and check out the Patreon and delve into this month's collection of Myths and Monsters. Previous Myths and Monsters are becoming available on their MyMiniFactory as well.  I would guess that October is going to be something spooky for the Halloween season.

What do you make of this Norse collection?
