Not quite a Legion of clones

started playing around on table top admiral a few weeks ago and made a list that was 90% of ther models it contained were all hoth themed, and despite my better judgment ended up buying what I could to start making the army,

the list starts with 3 units of rebel veterans and the corresponding laser/blaster machine gun, for these guys I sprayed them corax white, then used GWs contrast black to pick out the weapons, gloves and boots, painted up the trousers in either a blue or beige colour, painted up the flesh then gave everything a wash with nuln oil.

Next part of the list is 3 of the Rebel Dish cannon’s, these just got a spray base coat of chaos black, a 45degree spray of halfords grey primer, then a top down spray of corax white, followed by them details picked out.

I’m probably spending to much money on 3d printed stuff :p

Having ordered a clone trooper driver for an atrt. Anakin Skywalker when he became Darth vader around the time he sent naughty jedi to the naughty step. And some phase 2 clones.

Alongside a shit ton of terrain with a certain desert planet theme.

Havent had a great deal of time this week for much hobby, but I dis managed to get my wookies all furred up with a mix of three different contrast paints, black, cygor brown and gore grunta fur. Looked semi decent and good enough to me….

Also did some work oob the scout troopers, I’d ran out of my halfords white spray and bought corax white while getting the contrast browns, but I’d never heard before that corax white isnt white at all but more of a grey, bring lazy I just carried on and made the scouts look “dirtier.”

But what I have managed to do today,  saturday, if find some unit card templates and fart arsed around d experimenting with them and mocked up a clone scout squad and a jedi knight

Also managed to get some paint on yoda last week. Just his walking stick and the base to finish.

Here we’ve got the second of 2 units being added to my clone force. Just starting with the wookies and waiting for the contrast paint to dry before doing more work to them.

Yes I know that wookies aren’t available to the GAR list however neither are the imperial scout troopers I’ll also be adding. Myself and the friend I’ll mostly be playing against want to create thematic armies, so my clones will be built around the battle of kashyyk from revenge of the sith.

Seeing as captain rex from the clone wars came out I thought I might as well add another commander to my little legion.

Really been enjoying painting the clones, using the contrast paint as a shade turned out to be surprisingly effective. Happy how they all turned out.

Having now finished the Infantry from the core box. I started on the BARC speeder. Not really keen on how it looks but it’s better with out the side car in my mind, so that’s being left off.
