Grab Stunning Sci-Fantasy Warpland RPG Figures With Taiga’s Kickstarter
April 29, 2026 by brennon
Taiga Miniatures are now live on Kickstarter with their range of stunning Sci-Fantasy miniatures to suit the Warpland RPG but also plenty of other games that you might have in your collection. Check out the collaborative project run alongside Warpland creator, Gavriel Quiroga.
Warpland Kickstarter // Taiga Miniatures
Gavriel Quiroga's Warpland is a stunning Dark Sci-Fantasy setting that comes from the mind behind the equally awesome Neurocity. The Land of the Warp is a twisted place where technology and science are considered anathema and dark magic has been uncovered and wielded by terrible villains that need to be killed in fine sword and sorcery fashion.
"Warpland is set in a broken world shaped by a forgotten civilisation and a catastrophic war between two opposing forces. As reality itself fractures and a mysterious Void spreads across the land, survivors must navigate a dying world where knowledge, power, and existence are no longer certain."
Warpland has been designed with its own set of rules and mechanics but it can equally be used as a setting for your other OSR-era roleplaying games that you might have in your collection. All of that can be aided by the stunning miniatures that Taiga Miniatures has created based on the artwork from the Warpland rulebook.
Manik, Chief of the Skull Riders // Warpland
The campaign features an excellent range of characters, monsters, troops and more that you could use for adding to your games of Warpland on the tabletop. All of them are available as STL Files for you to print off at home, building out of an extensive base set with stretch goals unlocking more and more that will be added to your pledge as they are passed.

All of the miniatures are around the 32mm scale and so they should fit in alongside some of the miniatures that you already have in your collection. They range from the fearsome Manik and the Warlock above to the villainous Zandor the Cruel atop his winged beast that wouldn't look out of place in Golden Axe.
Zandor the Cruel // Warpland
As mentioned above, Warpland is a Sci-Fantasy universe and so with that in mind, you also have miniatures like the Technocrat who bring some of that more hi-tech equipment to the fighting. You can still bring him low with a good old-fashioned sword, though!

As well as the single figures that could be used to represent your characters in stories, Taiga are also working on a bunch of their multi-part sets so that you can build a range of allies and enemies that you might clash with during your various encounters across the Lands of the Warp.
Iron Lords Build Kit // Warpland
For example, you have the Iron Lords set above, which you can get as both a build kit and with monopose, "assembled" figures, so that you can just print them off and start painting/playing. I really like this as it means that you've got loads of kitbash and conversion fodder for use alongside other sets that exist out there that might fit the same proportions as these.
If cavalry is more your thing, continuing with that slight Golden Axe vibe, you can also get the awesome Skull Riders which come as both a build kit and as complete miniatures.

They look great and showcase the terrors of the wasteland that are going to be coming to hunt you down for encroaching on their territory! This is by no means all of the options available from Taiga Miniatures over on the Kickstarter but it gives you a good idea of what they're offering.
For example, there is a hefty amount of terrain that Taiga Miniatures has also been working on that will be available for you to plug into your pledge if you're seeking to craft yourself a nice tabletop to play out your Sci-Fantasy adventures.
Terrain Add-On /// Warpland
These look awesome for those who are seeking to design a fun scenario to play out with friends. Set up the sacrificial altar and see where things go! I also like the mutation bits, which hark back to some brilliant costumes and designs that you might have seen in old movies! The retro vibes are seriously on point when it comes to this campaign.
If you'd like to know more about the project, make sure to check it out on Kickstarter and live out your Sci-Fantasy dreams in the Land of the Warp. You'll also find information about Taiga Miniatures and their past in the 3D printing world, showcasing what the miniatures will look like when they've been printed out!
Are you going to be picking these up?
