While i’ve slowed down on painting the last few months (flew/work/hobby funk), i still painted half a dozen minis but, nothing worthwhile…

I started this fellow yesterday:  Reaper Gnome wizard !

I managed to finish the face a few minutes ago and i’m very happy with the eyes

I hope i manage to finish this one satisfied.  So far so good!

Painting some Japanese that have been in their boxes in the tower of shame. Watching The Pacific with my son sparked me into it. Also will be adding a WW1 FT17 as an armoured car choice. I know they were only really ever training Tanks for the Japanese by WW2, but i love the idea of one finding its way to a desperate island force.

Got some work done on the Blood Dragon hero last night.  I’ve only just laid out the dragon on the cloak but I’m already doubting it.  Will have to see where it goes next.

Just had a second session with my gnome and i’m liking the way it’s turning up!

And the obligatory butt shot lol

 

Did some blue highlights on the hair but, they it doesn’t show well, will try a better shot on my final session tomorow or saturday…

Heys guys, did another mini yesterday in a stream for Sitrep, the wellies colour was chosen by people who had posted. It was close between Lime Green and the final Red.

@duster, glad you like it. Yes, that’s freehand. I find a fine point brush with LONG bristles combined with a wet palette really reduces frustration.  Here are the next two stages of the cloak.  It kind of took over all my paint time.  I should be able to finish him tonight though.

I know army to army points should change, but i am going to use the points and stats someone found for me in a China list. It has the One-man Turret and the Slow rules which will make it hard to use at times, but you don’t play Japanese to win tournaments or field WW1 kit to be competitive. ?

After very long hiatus, I actually manged to paint something. Those ae two power loaders inspired by the Aliens movie – both rescaled and 3d printed from file freely available over on thingiverse.
