I’ve not shown anybody my work before other than close family an friends, so here goes, enjoy!

WIP on more poxwalkers. Got a new laptop and loved the look of the foam packing, so just based them today. Still not sure how I’m going to proceed. Was gonna cover them, but I like the layered look so may just reinforce them, and spray and weather them. Like a kind of a prefabricated base dropped from a ship…

Finally got these two based and done

Got these Saurus based too, just the champ to finish

I’ve been painting some 3d printed terrain. The culmination of a few weeks printing and painting. I have plans for loads more as the possibilities with this modular stuff is endless.
So today I finished my first regiment of troops for the French&Indian War / AWI period. I really love the 18th century North America theatre. We see everything from native tribes, traditional european armies, the birth of a nation to become the leading country of the world in the next 200 years. Here‘s my humble contribution, the Virginia regiment of the 1750s, miniatures by @warlordgames.

More to come…
Reichbusters’ arrival appears to be being delayed he by coming plague so I’ve been painting quick simple things I can walk away from if a big box arrives. As such, here are a few more mdoels from past goody bags, all working towards my 2020 pledge.
First up, Oathsworn’s Sensible Shoes Human Barbarian SS24. Originally the model was uninspiring, but once I started thinking about painting her she got interesting. She told me what colours to paint her, although I did resist going with full Brave ginger hair.

The Chillcon Derby 2018 show mini, Thorhild. A nice sculpt with a great base, even if the face doesn’t quote have enough detail. I coated that base in brown pigment and it mostly vanished during varnishing. It looked a lot dirtier before. I need to look into pigment fixers.

Bad Squiddo Games’ Thorrun, Shieldmaiden Champion. Quite a nice model. With the shield being a separate piece it breakes up the 2d plane of the model quite a lot.

This is Studio Miniatures Medieval Mayhem MM09 “The Sorcerer”, although I hear that some call him… Tim?

And now for something completely different (?), Hassasin Muyib with LGL, new design:

How a goblin tinders his resignation.
Furniture by Tiny Furniture. Tiny Furniture is currently running their “Harvest of War” corpse miniatures.

I finished Bellasarius Cawl!

I also started working on Heresy era Ahriman by completing his cloak and backpack. Additionally the Space Wolf on his base was completed.
