The Barons’ War Retinue & Mounted Command Coming This Week

Wargames Atlantic has previewed that more 28mm plastic miniatures are going to be coming out this week for those diving into their Medieval game, The Barons' War. We start with The Barons' War Retinue, which is a great starting point for someone diving into the game.

Barons' War Retinue // The Barons' War

This set gives you an instant army for use in The Barons' War. You get a full 750-point retinue in this box, featuring standard infantry armed with spears, hand weapons and shields, crossbows and bows. You also have the foot knights in there as well if you're looking for something a bit more hard-hitting to break the enemy.

Painted Retinue // The Barons' War

Capping off the force, you also get four of the mounted knights who could represent your Baron and their trusted companions. All of this is drawn from the existing plastic kits by Wargames Atlantic but designed to give you a one-stop shop for someone starting out in The Barons' War. Just paint them up to represent your choice of Historical Baron or perhaps a character of your own devising.

The second set that will be coming this Friday is for your Mounted Knight Command.

Mounted Knight Command // The Barons' War

This set works as mounted options for the Foot Knight Command that you will have seen appear on their website a few weeks ago. It comes with plenty of parts for you to customise and kitbash your way through The Barons' War range to make a unique character or set of characters to lead your retinue.

Mount Knight Command Sprue // Wargames Atlantic

You get four unique mounted character bodies and barded horses, plus loads of ways to mix them with the existing range of Serjeants and Knights. The box also comes with the loyal hound who follows your leader into battle wherever they go.

Barded Horse Sprue // Wargames Atlantic

This should be another great addition to The Barons' War range and hopefully, it won't be long until we see the plastic Monks and a few vagabonds popping up for those who want to go in a different direction with their retinue.
