Fogou Models might be "dead" but Gumpas lives. Ramshackle Games has now released a bunch of the figures from the Gumpas range. The Gumpas are odd, weird, quirky, strange and incredibly charismatic. Do they have a game? No. Do they have a real purpose? Nope. Will you still buy them? Yes!

Blocksy Gumpas - Fogou Models

Blocksy Gumpas // Fogou Models

There is a lovely range of five of the Gumpas, all with quirky and fun names. They are all a little bit odd and feel like they have been dragged out of the mind of some fever dream from the 1960s and 1970s. Why would you not want a Blocksy Gumpas in your life?

Drinky Gumpas - Fogou Models

Drinky Gumpas // Fogou Models

Perhaps Blocksy Gumpas isn't quite for you? How about Drinky Gumpas or perhaps even Jar Jar Gumpas? Drinky Gumpas is having a nice cup of tea (with mushrooms in it?) and getting themselves ready for the next day of Gumpas-ing.

Jar Jar Gumpas - Fogou Models

Jar Jar Gumpas // Fogou Models

Jar Jar Gumpas is also fun because he's a fun jar. Why wouldn't he be? Does that smiling face speak to some fun times coming your way, or are those dark eyes actually pits into the centre of your soul? I think maybe it's a bit of both.

Last but not least, we have the Gumpas Siblings. Little and large but still with big ol' heads. I like to think that they wobble around with heads that seem a lot like candy.

I quite like that these miniatures could be painted in this psychedelic way and then added into all sorts of different games. They could also be painted up with a stone texture if you like and you could turn them into interesting avatars of some strange god. Either way, I think there's a lot of fun to be had with these.

Gumpas Set - Fogou Models

Gumpas Set // Fogou Models

You can buy each of the Gumpas individually, or you can go down the route of snapping up the full set and having as much fun as you possibly can with the Gumpas in your own games. I think they are brilliant and hopefully the start of something amazing.

Are you going to be picking up the Gumpas?
