New Dragon Lancers For Celtos Ride Forth From Brigade Models

Brigade Models has added some new Fantasy wargaming miniatures to their collection for use with Celtos! It might have been ten years since Celtos saw new miniatures but the new Dragon Lancers are now racing across the plains.

Sidhe Dragon Leader // Brigade Models

Celtos is a game set in the ancient land of Goria. The armies that battle across the land take the form of the Fir Bolg, Anwyn, Fomorians, demonic Orcs and Goblins, the spawn of Chaos and Old Night plus the Gaels, the favoured children of the All Mother. You also have the Dwarven raiders of the Vanir! Last but not least, and represented here by the Dragon Lances, are the Sidhe, immortal elves who are in tune with the elements.

This set represents the Sidhe Dragon Riders, heavily armoured Elves on the back of armoured dragons with lances at the ready. There are also options representing a musician, a leader with a longsword, and more reinforcements to help bulk out your army on the tabletop.

The miniatures have a classic Fantasy charm, which I absolutely love. The poses are very old school, as are the riders, but I think they look brilliant and match up well to the artwork of the period and the background of Celtos as a whole. Whilst these would be a good fit for Celtos (obviously), I think these also work rather nicely alongside the look for the Elves of Kings of War in Pannithor.

When it comes to breaking down what's available, you have the Dragon Lancer Troop, Dragon Lancer Reinforcements, a Leader, Musician and two separate Lancers. If you're looking for a bit of classic Celtos but with new miniatures, this could be a lot of fun to sink your teeth into.
