Victrix Add New Weapon Options To Medieval Mounted Sergeants

Victrix Miniatures listened to some of the comments from the community after previewing their new Medieval Mounted Sergeants and introduced some new options into the mix for the upcoming sprues.

One of the suggestions was to introduce crossbows into the mix and so now there are going to be enough components in the set to give every figure one if you like. You can also mix and match them with different Mounted Sergeant poses to get the best out of them.

As well as that, the team at Victrix have added some pillaged items to the sprues so you can customise your troops. Maybe your Mounted Sergeants have been out hunting and come back with rabbits, pheasants and ducks from the local area.

You will also get more "kit" for your miniatures, like feed bags and saddle bags. You will also get bedrolls, bags and water/wine skins that were called costrels.

Armour-wise, the set will also now contain padded gambesons, so you can have a good mix of them and surcoats over chainmail. Victrix have packed a lot onto these sprues already, so there will be a separate set that will include the Unarmoured Mounted Sergeants.

To cap all this off, you'll also get spears, lances, axes, swords and falchions to use when customising your Mounted Sergeants. A solid way to build a core of cavalry for your games that can fulfil a range of battlefield roles when your skirmishing or taking to the field in larger clashes.
