Very nice. Im liking a lot of the stuff from MaxMini, lots of conversion possibilities. As soon as i saw those jump packs i went oooh, even though i dont usually use fast attack stuff. I much prever big lumbering tanks and heavily armoured troops, all with big swords or guns, or both. Also, pre-heresy stuff is anything before the horus heresy, some of those halmets look like pre-heresy marine halmets.
lots of nice conversion bits on the website….
Those jump packs would be awsome for converting some chaos raptors
I like them.
They do look ‘older’ or less modern than the current gw style, so for me, I’d probably use those jetpacks for the vanguard veteran squad in my in progress blood angels, not only do they look good, but I also find having models look different helps with keeping a tab on which units are doing what.
Not sold on the helmets, better than the bog standard gw ones I think, but for me the ones in the death company box are better for my particular army, but thats just me.
Darrel, I haven’t seen you in anything n so long that I thought you were dead!!
Right on glad to see Darrell 🙂
What has happened to the video looks like a guy in a church
Ooh these look cool, would fit on my Iron Warriors no problem 🙂 !
All I see is a fat blue guy in a church
bobba fett
Maybe darrell has been smited for the amount of cheese he makes
They be trolls in them seas!
After our departure from YouTube it seems they’re sticking to our flanks like barnicles… Yaaar!
At least nobody puts “FIRST” on our vids any more…
BTW… if anyone puts FIRST on any of our videos I’ll take great pleasure in hitting them with the Ban-Hammer… mmmmm…. troll-hammer!
Not an expert, but I think the term pre-heresy is refering to the “great crusade” era. If that’s the case, id like to see Megarachnid’s and Interex on the table myself.
i like the helms and hammers from the other video, thinking of getting the multi-studded shoulders with a group of hammers and heads for my own pre-heresy stern/vern guard.
pre-heresy = before horus turns to chaos, so is MK1 marine armor and such.. there are no tatics for it, as its just a different variant armor.. most pre-heresy models are uses as vet squads.
OT I really like the commercial for Infinity. Nicely done. And yes I did like the helmets.
I’m with ya I dig the battlefoam ad as well…
There doing a great job on them 🙂
I baught some of the “commando heads” with Beret’s.. it says they’re 28mm.. But they look deformed on an Imperial guard.. =[ such a shame..
Soooo many jokes to be had.
Those conversion bits look just like the space marine assault squad from forge world with the MkII ‘Crusade’ pattern power armor.
I liked the helmets, one of them reminded me of the punisher symbol. would be quite good for a chapter based around a knightly order, could be quite good as a version of the dark angels just after Caliban is discovered.
As for the jump packs, im not so sure :/ while they look good they just seem to big, it looks like the marine would fall on his arse if he stood the wrong way.
Great to see you back online. Love the jump packs!
Darrel, stop saying shoulder pad!! They’re pauldrons. Pauldrons.
I still see just the video with the fat guy in a church. Is the video IP-locked to UK only?
LOL! There is a different video playing while I’m watching on my iPad:
PC: Darell
iPad: some fat guy in a church
I used those heads on my 40k Iron Warrior CSM’s. They look awesome! Love the look of the jet packs, may get some for my Raptors.
DARRELL!!!!!!!!! Not seen you for a long time!! 😀 Nice to see you and I hope your on Turn 8 🙂
Forge World have released a 5 man MK II Space Marine Assault Squad with jet packs that seem to be a better deal than buying all the parts separate from these and GW.
I guess if you want different it is good though.
I see the helmets as something for Black Templars. Possibly even a few of the shoulders too 😀
Saw the Steamy backpacks on Dakka and they look like they would go a treat with these helms and shoulderpads if you didn’t want the jetpacks.
nab those heads for black templers !
