Aeldari Exodites FINALLY Coming To Warhammer 40,000!

It has been a long time coming but finally, fans of Warhammer 40,000 and the Aeldari are going to be able to bring Exodites to the tabletop! They are going to be coming in a new Kill Team set with rules for using them in the skirmish game and Warhammer 40,000.

Clanblade // Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team

The backdrop to this particular Kill Team set is that the Orks have landed on one of the Exodite Maiden Worlds. The Beast Snaggas, always impressed by big monsters that are worthy of hunting, have decided that the dinosaur-like creatures of this world are ones they'd love to claim as trophies.

On the Exodite side of this boxed set, you get a small but elite Kill Team made up of the Clanblade, Leystalker and the Stonesinger.

Stonesinger // Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team

The Clanblade is your melee-focused Exodite, whilst you then have a cunning sniper and a keen psyker amongst the trio. All three of the Exodites can also be built as Exodite Dragon Knights if you want to use that version in your games of Warhammer 40,000. They look great and mesh quite well with the classic artwork for the Exodites from back in the day.

The Exodites and their drakesteeds are then backed up by some more of their hunting pack in the form of the Drakolithes.

Drakolithes // Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team

The Exodites in this set can be used by those wanting to battle against other Kill Teams but you can also work cooperatively with a friend as part of Joint Ops games and a branching campaign. This is where you take on the role of the Aeldari and their allies, trying to cleanse their Maiden World of the Orks.

All of this comes as part of the new Kill Team: Exodite set, which will feature all of the new rules, tokens and cards. I can imagine this set selling out very quickly! Also, as the Exodites can be used in Warhammer 40,000, the miniatures will be available later in a separate box if you'd prefer to wait.

Could this new set be enough to make you dive into playing games of Kill Team?
