I don’t see Conan crucified on that tree.
I have owned it for the past 3 weeks and I love using it for my Warmachine battles! I play Legion and Circle so it is just perfect. The quality is fantastic and I haven’t changed a thing to it.
Definitely good stuff there, all this battlefield in a box range is great q , but they seem to be upping the quality with each release.
What, no car on the top of the tree? Will have to change that with my tree of woe.
You should do a video on all different bases from GW and other companies!
I like the battlefield in a box range. It has a very good weight to it. I thought my ruins were actually madse of stone at one point! My one criticism is I don;t really like the half tree\ half tower thing going on. I would have preferred a large tree or a large tower but I can see that some people might like that.
Wow, that’s a lot better looking than I was expecting. Previews made it look OK, but seeing it to scale makes a big difference (it’s a big piece!). Decent enough price, link from Wayland says 22.50 pounds.
Over all, I think it’s not all that useful; it’s far too small to be realistic or usabe. Why would anyone build a tower that could fit a single person? Also, it would be easy and quick to build from scratch and paint. I think you’re just over reacting due to the pre-paintedness of the tree 😉
It is nice though, but I wouldn’t buy it.

needs tentacles, mouths, random-eyes and an elder-sign on it – then again I think this about, well – everything!
Nicest set of affordable prepainted scenary on the market. keep it coming GF9
It looks like the kind of standard of terrain that will be commonplace in a couple of years. I’ll be having one, methinks.
Wasn’t 100% on this from the box pic, but it really is a nice piece.
I like the mythical tower built into/onto a tree idea a lot too.
Strikes me immediately as a good fit for Warmachine / Hoardes.
Much more so than Warhammer.
As a piece of terrain its ok but GF9 has been turning out some really nice parts so this was a bit of a let down to me. It will do, but id put it at the bottom of my list if i was buying
@neldoreth: have you been in a castle? They’re pretty single file.;)
I think it’s brilliant as well (also one of the few times I’ll be agreeing with Darrell :D). I just pick up the entire river range, and with a bit of magic water it looks AMAZING. This piece is about 40 minutes away, so you can bet I’ll be acquiring one soon.
@ironmonger
I have been in a few castles, none of them were that small 🙂 On top of that, I’ve been in a few walled cities, and the towers are big enough to stand atop with a number of others. If they were smaller then they wouldn’t be defensible. I’m not saying there aren’t any small castle towers, but perhaps they weren’t built to be defensible?
In any case, this model seems like it would look nice on the battlefield, but wouldn’t be all that usable. One figure in the top of the tower? Here’s my tower, and it’s a small one!

thanks

Good but not as good as the elf Tower. Now that was a awesome terrain piece.
that is one nice looking piece of kit. I might just buy that.
It looks fery nice and its very reasonably priced but the only real use for it in 40k is sticking a sniper or another one man unit with a big gun in it. Actually i could put a Techmarine in it with a conversion beamer or a vindicare assassin. mabe even block the entrance with a tank. That way if things get too hot the assassin can either just go down a few steps out of sight or just jump in the back of the tank and relocate. Quite a good idea actually. Maybe get a techmarine to fortify it to get a 3+ cover save. Actually im starting to like this tree of Wowyness i might just have to get it! 😀
nice peace would look good with my elves 🙂
