A complete aside
Whilst I’m working on the asualt marines, I thought I’d introduce what else is happening on my painting tray.
I can’t just concentrate on one thing so I tend to have multiple distractions on the go. A week or so my mother in law found this in the village co-op, and thought I would like it.
Now I don’t really play Age of Sigmar (nothing against it, more oppounity) but the stormcast looked fantastic, so in honour of the maxim “every model is a necromunda model” I decided to 40k it.
First thing was to build it. Luckily with the modern GW push fit models this was easy. Once it was complete I could remove the silly sword, and replace it with an open hand. Next I need to add a holster or a bolster, but that requires finding marine bits.
If I remember I’ll keep posting about this aside.
