Take it Down
A short burst of autopistol fire, and a Scavvie fell from his hiding place. The Juve had made it to the docks.
Odell, out of ammo and out of ideas, drew his knife and joined the frantic melee on board the boat.
“Take it down, take it down.”
As the Scaly turned to strike at Lawdog,
Slugface staggered up and plunged the chainsword into the beast, tearing through its flesh and covering the deck with blood.
At point blank range, Lawdog emptied his autogun into it. Some rounds punched through; the Scaly slumped to the floor.
The Lizard on the Widow
A large group of zombies lay between Bob and the boat. He took to the towers and walkways to travel over the carnage below.
Deadeye watched as two sailors reached a boat, only to see the Scaly charge on board after them. He had no choice but to follow the terrifying green mutant.
Slugface got to the boat, but the Scaly got there too. It sent him flying to the deck as it smashed on board.
Lawdog grabbed the nearest gun from the ship and opened fire. His aim was true, but the bullets bounced off the creature’s thick scales.
Running Out of Time
Bob was not the sharpest tool in the box, but it was clear: the only way to escape was that boat!
Returning fire at the Scaly with no success and low on ammo, the Bounty Hunter decided to make a dash for the boat.
Ploughing forward, the chainsword-wielding mutant seaman reached the docks and had a near miss as a harpoon whizzed past him.
The Sergeant was now hot on Slugface’s heels. He barked out orders like a man of authority. The horde was swarming into the docks, the Scavvies continued to fire down at them, and time was running out.
The Docks
“Cannon Fodder” Bob crawled out from under a market stand. There was no sign of the Captain or crew. He hadn’t planned to become a boat hand, but a Juve has to make creds.
Deadeye Odell went running and gunning down the main path to the docks. A large, rusty harpoon brought his charge to an end as it struck the bulkhead next to his head. The Scaly’s shot only narrowly missed the Bounty Hunter.
With the roar of a chainsword, two mutant Scavvies became lots of little bits of mutant Scavvie.
“Get to the boat, get to the boat.”
The Sergeant trailed behind his crewmate, making sure to keep a safe distance. Well-placed shots stopped anything getting too close.
Getting Closer
With a gap carved in the zombies, the miner climbed down, running as soon as his feet hit the ground. Bullets rained down around him, but it was the clawing hands and biting teeth that got him.
Deadeye Odell was briefly caught off guard as zombies grabbed him from behind. After fending them off and seeing the fate of Philo, he turned for the docks.
Slugface reached the container yard of the docks, only to be met by two large mutant Scavvies. One cut off his path as the other attacked from behind.
The Sergeant almost reached the yard before he attracted the attention of the horde, now forced to run with the plague zombies closing in.
Trouble at the Bottom
Philo, with nothing to lose, fired everything he had into the zombies below him. As his shotgun clicked empty, the zombies kept dropping.
Out of the shadows emerged Deadeye Odell, the famous Bounty Hunter. Guns blazing, this stranger came to the rescue, followed by even more zombies.
Slugface ran. His mind was set, the words of his Captain still in his head:
“Get to the boat.”
Smashing past some storage boxes, something caught his eye, making him stop.
“Get to the boat, get to the boat, get… chainsword.”
Waves of zombies followed in Slugface’s wake. No one noticed the Sergeant following them.
Trouble at the Top
Looking for a way out, Philo saw a crate on the stall next to him. Without any other options, Digger desperately jumped across. Finding a shotgun, all hope was not lost yet.
The Captain and Lawdog reached the top of the tower. They dived for cover and opened fire on the Scavvies. Tomos knew time was not on their side. The Captain bravely pushed forward across a walkway, only to be brutally cut down.
Seeing the fate of his employer, Sergeant Lawdog decided to take his chances back down at ground level.
Seaman “Slugface” Rud watched in horror as his fellow mutant and crewman, Three Eyes, was ripped apart. He ran from his hiding place, heading straight for the docks.
The Heroic Mutant
Scanning his surroundings, Captain Tomos swiftly made his way out of the market.
“Follow me. Look out for Scavvies. Stick together.”
From the top of a market building, Philo could see he was surrounded. Worse still, he was now an easy target for the Scavvies up on the walkways and surrounding structures.
Without hesitation, Three Eyes sacrificed himself for the others, charging headfirst into the closest group of zombies. He didn’t stand a chance.
Lawdog followed his Captain up a ladder to the structures surrounding the market. The others were left to fend for themselves.
