Finally had the birthday game. It took over an hour to get folk to pay attention but once it got going everyone had fun. Everyone had a unit to control and the card driven system of muskets and tomahawks kept everyone on their toes. The colonial forces were trying to gain control of the hamlet from the British

The brits and Germans deployed across the middle of hhe table while the Americans moved in from 4 different areas. They found it difficult to get close to their objectives. A well placed cannon shot from the hill had continentals running as they tried to cross a bridge and were kept at bay by musket fire.
