Getting Moonstone to the table.

We are continuing to make progress through our Moonstonme collection for this years Spring Clean Challenge. This week I am going to share three newly completed minis from my half of the collection. Mrs. Pigmoo has not finished any in a while, but she is working on something like 14 at a time. When she does get them over the finish line she will quickly surpass my progress painting one at a time to completion.

I had a blast painting Viscount de Faulte, he was one I was looking forward to almost as much as Greymere. I went for a very similar look as the box art, but I am no competition painter. I am happy with the results though. I also hammered out Marley, The Duchess, and Viktor Petty, Graverobber.

I leaned into the fall colors and flock materials for the basing, going for a forest look. This has been a lot of fun becasue it is not something I do often., I am ussually painting sci fi and city rubble bases. I do really like how the Turquoise pieces add a Moonstone look to the bases too. I have been using it sparingly and using other basing materials to partially bury it or obscure it, except for Marly whos coffin looks to be bursting out of a Moonstone deposit.

That leaves twelve more from my half of the collection and the all of Mrs. Pigmoos in progress minis.

We still have quite a few we need to get done, but this challenge is a real boost to motivation. Since we tackled Judge Dredd last year we have picked up the habit of working together to try and knock out full games at a time. We have already started talking about whats next between Halo Flashpoint, We played God, and getting some odds and ends done for the upcoming Repent! ye foolish Gods.
