Hedonites Of Slaanesh Next Up For Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Games Workshop might be focused a lot on Warhammer 40,000 right now but Warhammer Age of Sigmar is also seeing new miniatures and rules coming down the pipeline. The Hedonites of Slaanesh are the next faction to join the 4th Edition of the game.

The new Hedonites of Slaanesh Chaos Battletome will come with all of the updated lore for the forces of Slaanesh, covering both the mortal and daemon servants that do their god's bidding. You'll find loads of updated rules for using them on the tabletop, a new set of battle traits based around temptations and plenty of lore for you to sink your barbed teeth into as well. New Heroic Miniature

The Lord of Hysteria is one such servant of Slaanesh, showcasing that flamboyance.

This new Lord joins the Lord of Hubris and the Lord of Pain as a support character. They have sold their souls to pleasure daemons and now use their powers to urge their followers on to ecstatic fits of violence.

You can arm the miniature with either the mirrored blade or the censer and there are also two different helmet toppers for you to use if you'd like more than one in your army. A stunning new figure that will be a great way for you to test your armour painting and flesh painting skills.

New Spearhead

There is also a new Spearhead coming alongside the Battletome for those who want to get started in The Mortal Realms with the Hedonites of Slaanesh.

This set gives you a good flavour of what makes up a Slaaneshi force, packed with daemons for you to choose from. You get the Thricefold Discord, three Fiends, twenty Daemonettes and five Seekers. A very quick and agile Spearhead that should be able to close with the enemy quickly and secure objectives without issue.

New Regiment of Renown

Another of the new additions to other Chaos armies is the option to run The Accursed Reflection and benefit from the teachings of Slaanesh amongst another force.

The Disciples of Tzeentch, Helsmiths of Hashut, Maggotkin of Nurgle, Skaven, and Slaves to Darkness can make use of this particular set of powerful spells, mastered by the Contorted Epitome. A great way for you to include some more cunning sorcery in your force if you're lacking in the spellcasting department.

New Army of Renown

Lastly, if this has got you excited about the idea of diving in and running the Hedonites of Slaanesh, you can also get yourself a big army box.

Whilst the Spearhead delivers on the daemonic side of the Hedonites, this Decadent Host set focuses more on the mortal followers of the Dark Prince. You get Sigvald in all of his magnificence, three Slaangor Fiendbloods, five Myrmidesh Painbringers, five Slickblade Seekers and ten Blissbarb Archers. A great way for you to start a pretty solid, elite army of the Hedonites or add to an existing army in your collection. It will also work for running the Army of Renown found within the Battletome.
