I am looking forward to putting a table of terrain together.

I see some of the official terrain and it's seems to have more verticality rather than larger footprints. I still like that these feel thematic in my head canon.

The bits and bobs from 15mm tank sprues really helps tie the buildings to the scale and hide the humble packaging beginnings of the pieces.

I am kinda obsessed with these sensor applicator packaging pieces and just playing around with minor changes with the original theme.

And when in doubt add the lid to a dissolvable vitamin C pot.

Got access to a friend's 40k bits box to add a bit more interest to my latest batch of terrain features.

The Pizza box stand / tripod makes for an interesting departure from the other pieces but covers a similar footprint.

These turbines are a fun addition.

I have usually tried to hide the hole on the top of this packaging, but this time made a feature of it.

I wanted ladders for this scale. I found some bits online in a similar scale, but the whole point of making my own terrain was to keep costs down and make things bespoke. I found that straightened out and clipped up staples gave me a great looking ladder. They weren't as fiddly to make as I thought they would be and scale quite well. Will be using more of these.
