Wyld Holdings Announces Acquisition Of Battle Foam
July 9, 2026 by brennon
Wyld Holdings this week announced the acquisition of the legendary Battle Foam into the family! Plenty of folks will be aware of Battle Foam as one of the best ways to transport your miniatures safely to your games and now they're joining the wider family that includes the likes of Wayland Games, Occam Distribution and Kraken Wargames.
Wyld Holdings Acquires Battle Foam
From the press release... "As part of the group, Battle Foam will retain its distinct brand identity, creative autonomy, and core team, whilst gaining access to Wyld Holdings' extensive logistics infrastructure, international distribution networks, and robust operational support."
The news also came alongside statements from Richard Lawford of Wyld Holdings...
"Our strategy at Wyld Holdings is not about absorbing brands and altering what makes them successful; it’s about empowering them to play at a larger scale. The team at Battle Foam has built a phenomenal product line and a highly dedicated community. By pairing their creative DNA with our operational strength and distribution muscle, we can accelerate their growth and introduce their products to a wider global audience."
...and Romeo Filip, the founder of Battle Foam, who many folks within the classic Beasts of War and OnTableTop community will be familiar with!
"Joining the Wyld Holdings family represents a massive milestone for us. It allows the team to focus entirely on what they do best—creating exceptional products for our community while leveraging Wyld's world-class retail and distribution channels to scale thoughtfully without losing our roots. I’m excited to seeing our excellent products reach even more customers"
Importantly, the integration of the company into the family will begin immediately with zero disruption to the existing process for Battle Foam, meaning you'll still be able to get your hands on all of the goodies from the team at Battle Foam without delay! Maybe take the opportunity to head over to the Wayland Games website and take a look at the Battle Foam offerings they already have for you to pick up?
Hopefully, this means we're going to be seeing some great Battle Foam options for transporting your armies for the likes of Dystopian Wars and Armoured Clash. I could see some cool cases and foam inserts for those games coming together , perhaps branded towards different factions!
Snag yourself some Battle Foam and protect those armies!
Disclosure: OnTableTop and its companies are part of the group of companies owned and operated by Wayland Games Ltd since 12/10/2020

That’s WILD!
so it is the granddaddy of business daddy that got them …
Someone should list what these companies are and how they relate.
There is precious little info to be found via Google. 🙁
Knowing who is actually a competitor and who is ‘independent’ would be a good thing for us as consumers.
From what I found online Wyld Holdings is a new company less then 3 years old (more like a year old). And then the rabbit hole starts XD I feel I might do a deep dive on this.
We took advice about company structure over last couple if yesrs and moved to the new structure.. Wyld Holdings website shows all the brands and companies. Adds some complexity but also easier to make acquistions and them silo different types of business. Allows us to have different entities focus on their strengths.
I wonder if this disclosure needs updating to represent the new structure @warzan @waylandgames?
Well the site https://wyldholdings.co.uk/ is down while https://www.wyldholdings.co.uk/ is up. Normally not a big deal but search engines push the first URL. Subdomains need to be defined 😉
Well that certainly wasn’t on my bingo card for the day.. or the month.. or the year
That certainly wasn’t on list of things i expected this year! Exciting news through, look forward hopefully plenty of new foam for the Warcrade range and it being easier to get hold off! A set that can hold dystopian wars fleets without 90% of the space being take up just by the foam would be awesome
Battlefoam when I have had it in the past has always been excellent.
I wonder if the actual reason for the acquisition was looking at the price of Peli cases for all that fancy new OnTableTop camera gear and thinking it would be cheaper with Battlefoam 😀
BF also makes cases for shooting and other enthusiasts, and will pretty much custom make anything you want. Absolutely top notch quality and service.
I’m on the Battlefoam mail list, and they announced it today as “Wayland Games acquires…”.
BF has the best foam and cases, and they give veteran discounts which helps!
