Absolute filth! Top stuff Swampy. Good to see some WFB cheese on the site.
LMAO. Not sure if Swampy qualifies as a cheese hunter. Loading up your lords with tons of expensive equipment isn’t cheese. Highly disappointed.
Don’t have the book in front of me but from first glance (I picked it up for a friend) I think this was pretty mighty
Demon prince Lv 4 wizard
Mrk of Nurgle
Scaly skin
Charmed shield
Soulreaper (regain wounds on a 6 for wounds dealt thing)
Dragon bane gem
Other trickster shard
And the familiar I think also fits in there if I remember correctly points wise.
add Flight to taste
just over 500 points though so only larger games. The charmed shield lets you ignore that first Cannonball hit, if you have more coming your way you are either playing against a very heavy artillery list or you are not maneuvering your character correctly. DP comes with a built in 5+ ward and If I remember correctly between the chaos armour scaly skin and charmed shield you come out to a 1+ armour save. Being a monster the DP gets thunderstomp and he causes terror. Most of nurgle’s spells can be cast in combat so the DP just gets locked into combat 2nd turn, each turn casting stream of corruption (direct damage spell) having a good chance at massive damage, because of Nurgle its very difficult to hit the character in combat, and with 1 or 2 lucky lore attribute rolls it becomes very difficult to wound, and even if a wound does occur there is a chance to get wounds back on your 5 attacks and D6 wounds from the thunderstomp.
well might need to doublecheck on stream of corruption since it is a template, I know direct damage doesn’t need line of sight, I forget if it has one of the other stipulations though.
Now I know why I always lose this game, I need another game system that will work on basic tactics and not on the latest Super-hero. Codex Inflation?
