Thanks for the comments chaps on Sauron and the Watchmen (Page 66 of WAYPN). The Palantir is painted but I was going for something with lots of depth that looked like glass so I’m happy with the marble comparison :).
The Watchmen are from Knight Models. I agree about the anti-shine. They had a layer of Testors matt varnish spray but I should probably go over them with anot-shine from a bottle. Silk Spectre II wears a very shiny PVC/latex suit in the movie, hence the gloss finish on the model.

Yup guys… there is not witchcraft to my painting!
Given my photography has improved loads I will create a thread of all the Confrontation stuff I have painted, because then you will get a feel for how my painting has changed since I got back into the hobby back in 2013 after a 8 year break.
