Bunch o’ Rhinos.
I’m building a proper command squad for the 2nd Company as it’s the lead force in this deployment.
And I have a Razorback I want them to run about in.
And I kinda want at least one of each “specialist”.

Finally got that Galladoria Games’ Grumpkin painted. It’s the generic fantasy half-ogre version of that man shaking his fist in the sky. Except he’s using a club. And your head. ~8)

ObShoutout: While the Grumpkin is available on the GG website, GG is also running a KS campaign for its Mimic 2 set!

Riptide number one all finished. Two more to go. The main weapons were magnetized.

Seer done for Mortal Gods.

Finally fiished a mini again this week 🙂
This is Professor Aldarius Wormwood from the Fortune Hunters (ShadowSea)

Almost done with the figures as far as final touches for the Spring Clean. Paint is done and I can move all my painting stuff from my house without cause for concern that I can’t finish.

@horati0nosebl0wer now there’s a sight to make an old Empireman very happy.
@somegeezer Dry pigments for horse skin was something I read about long long ago being done for 1:12 scale figures and thought it might work for 1:72. Its definitely a horse of a different color (in the merry old land of Oz) when trying it like that instead of painting. I did a few spots at the end to give it some more definition to the dapple but otherwise it was applied generally with a cotton bud. I think that the woman who’s blog I read way back was doing her work with makeup sponges. Honestly that would be the way to go of it were a 3×3 mm square for the small folds and I wanted ultra smooth blending.
The Aedwyrm base is still drying out, so I couldnt avoid them any longer, so I busted through the remaining cavalry figures for my Dark age Arthurians, I HATE painting horses, its just got to be said, they almost rank as highly on my never paint again list as zombies.
But theyre done…
The ones just done

and the previous ones

So that rounds out my initial 1500 pt list for War and conquest
heres the force as a whole

Riptide number two is all finished up. One more left to do.

Those riptides are a lovely sight @chaosgorka
The Aedwyrm from oakbound miniatures is done, despite my piss poor photography skills, she is actually dark green not black, but im damned if I can get it to show..

Some Greek civilians from Warlord Games. It’s the first time I’ve painted such tiny, dainty faces in a while and I’m not 100% happy with them. Much happier with the cloth though. You win some you lose some.

Healer for Mortal Gods.

Some Hobbits for LOTR SBG.
Always wanted to do Scouring of the Shire and with the new book on the horizon it seems like a good time to start.
I have a project here with the building of Hobbit Holes.
