Painted the big lad early in my painting career, and was never happy.
Bought another and put all my effort in to it. Looked at it. Hated it. Looked at it beside the original one. It’s alright you know.
Okay, so here are a few snapshots of the last two units I needed to complete my 8th Army Western Desert project. A 2pdr AT gun, curtesy of Perry Miniatures and some plastic and metal figures by warlord games to represent a troop of Royal Engineers. Superb pose, but I had to cut of tactical rock and design new base just for him.
Spent a few hours today using a test mini to rough out a general colour scheme for my Death Korp of Krieg. Gonna start with a Kill Team then pop open the shiny storage area and blow the dust off the army.
