Necromunda’s Goliath & Escher Get Reinforcements This Weekend

Games Workshop aren't waiting around to get the new House books and miniatures into the hands of Necromunda players. The new books for the Goliaths and Eschers, alongside their new plastic miniatures are coming up for pre-order this weekend.

Goliath Forge Bosses // Necromunda

The Goliath Forge Bosses (which are the newest of the kits) are going to be made available for pre-order, including enough components for you to make your leaders and champions in games of Necromunda. You'll also find their pets here in the form of the Sumpkrocs. As always with Necromunda, I would think folks will do a heck of a lot of converting and kitbashing with these new miniatures to create their new gangs for the new edition or maybe even the previous one if they still prefer that.

The Forge Smelters from the new Necromunda Core Set are also available separately. This could be a good box of specialists for you to add into the mix for your games of Necromunda if you didn't want to go with the Core Set.

Sticking with new miniatures, House Escher are also getting their two new plastic sets. The Escher Matriarchs set comes with plenty of components for making your leaders and champions for House Escher alongside the Phyrr Cats. Everyone is getting some nice plastic pets to play with!

The Blades of the Matriarch are also going to be available for you to pick up from the Core Set separately, just like with the Goliaths. Again, this comes with a myriad of additional weapon options for Escher, so you can create quite the diverse gang of err...gangers.

This means that if you were interested in just one side of the Core Set but didn't want to pick up the big box, you can now get these miniatures and the various rules from Games Workshop on their own. Pick them up and slot them into your collection, either embracing the new edition of the game or sticking with the previous one(s). Whichever way you go, you're well catered for.

New Underhive Journals

As well as the new miniatures, the new Underhive Journals are also going to be available to pre-order for House Goliath and House Escher.

Each of the new Underhive Journals comes with additional rules for using each of the different Houses in your games of Necromunda. These aren't required for your campaigns or your one-off games but they do give you some more flavourful ways of approaching each of these gangs in your games. You'll find bonus gang variants, new side missions, new gang-specific locations and more.

New Gang Accessories

Finally, each of the new gangs will also get new accessories for you to use. You will be able to get new Card Packs and Dice for you to use alongside each of the Houses.

The Card Packs are a reference deck for your games which feature Gang Tactics, Territories and Fighters. You can also get some new dice for each House. The set comes with two Injury Dice, three House-themed d6, one Scatter Die and two Firepower Dice. Thankfully, Necromunda is one of those games where you don't need a lot of dice to do your thing!
