The guy with the sickle has fleet so he can be rushin’ around as much as you want 😀

IIRC there’s no upgrade character lets you run them as troops, heamonculi let you run wracks as troops and Baron Sathonyx lets you take hellions, but there’s no Mandrake character.

Ugh… these guys make me want to start a Dark Eldar army. Damn you GW… every time I get out, you pull me back in!

i have to be a the negative voice but i never thought these extremely bad ass models are worth fielding at all. for 15 points ur getting a decent scout yes. but everything else stinks in less they have that shooting attack (which is decent). i dont see them killing anything to get that pain token tho. they may go first in most cases (except genestealers which are I-6 for 1 less point with rending) but no power weapon no rending no shooting low toughness low save when not in cover, inless ur attacking something painfully squishy like 10 imperial gaurd or 10 termagants there not getting that pain token and there goign to have to come out of cover to do it. any space marine will laugh as they phase in and out of reality only to mabe take a chink out of there Armour. hell if i was a space marine id be glad to give them the first hit just for the sake of good sportsmanship…………then laugh about it over a pint later.

all in all for space marine cost. not being able to shoot when u have the only good save ur gona get (in cover) and probobly only effective in squads of 10. they wouldent make my list

I don’t mind the samurai look they got, the long hair and hakama (made of flesh, of course), although let’s face it; anything’s better than the leather-clad gimp look they used to have. And Darrel; since when have Dark Eldar cared about functional haircuts? Look at Lelith!

Cool I quite like the models. I’m not sure they’re all that useful: they’re not bad in combat I think you have to ambush a devastator squad or whatnot, keep that cover save and tie up shooty units. I think a dedicated assault unit of some of the other races would take them down fairly easily though.

Definately considering these chaps, always liked them before but theyre very different now. Theyre not that high on my shopping list however, due to the metal and the tactical necessity!
