Great looking objectives. I think, I would use them without the base in order for them to blend with the table and surrounding terrain more easily.
a great idea but in sr2012 they have specfic sizes of flags, objectives etc which means for a warmahordes event you cant “officially” just pop it on the table for looks without using the correct base

used some on the game table today- they are rather nice. May have to add them to birthday list
About $12US and they are even more detailed in person. Plan to take 2x-3x longer to paint them as you originally planned – there is that much detail!
The end result is that they look amazing on the table. I did not glue mine to the bases so that I can use them either way.
As Trebor pointed out, you have to use them on the bases for sr2012, but I don’t know why our lovely PP didn’t simply make them the size of the 50mm and not have to include the bases at all. I’m in the process of making Hordes objectives for Gators, Skorne, Circle and Trollbloods, with the hope that PP releases some official ones before too long…
