I will do anything but paint those Stormboyz, it seems. So I decided it was time to paint up all the bare sand bases that my horde had been standing on thus far. I’m glad I did because if I had waited till the end, painting the whole lot at once probably would have been off-putting.

I ended up settling on a muddy, barren look, dead or dried-out-looking plant life. So much Rhinox Hide paint and Agrax Earthshade were spent, several brushes were destroyed in the process, but I’m happy with the outcome. Now, everything seems more unified. With these guys all finished for now, I can stash them in the display and get on with the rest of the rabble.
