Metals are the best!

Not sure what’s gotten into me but today I ordered some Oyumaru to replace the missing arm of one of the old genestealers and disassembled the metal tyranids even further.

I didn’t know that the hive tyrant’s upper body came in 4 parts (head, three pieces of torso) and the lower body came in three parts. And because I was “at it” I cracked every superglue link.

After that I started removing mold lines, old glue and greenstuff and did a lot of dry fitting. And since now I can get into all the nocks and crannies they all go back into The Soup[tm] for some more cleaning.
