Bob does Weird War

With the German and American forces temp finished with tbe completion of both Starter and Beginners boxes I turned to what will my 3rd and final Konflikt force the British. I had briefly considered not doing tbem but already had odd stuff from previous venturr into the game so what the hell. So buying the British starter army and a heavy mech I began.

Unlike the other 2 armies this time I started with tbe mechs. I had already done tbe Guardian, and had a paintedGrizzly which I wintered to match my theme.

I then began on The Percival medium mech and Merlin Heavy.

I found the previous Salamander Green abit dark so bit the bullet and brought GW Death Guard Green as it was easier to find without paying silly postage.

Both these and the later armour were given a base colour of that, followed by tbis time a 50/50 water to wash of GW Agrax Earthshade. Followed by a dry brush with army painter cammo green. Metallic’s were again done in Army painter enchanted steel followed by a nlln oil wash over the metallics. Vision slits and the Tesla coil on Perival were done with a base white, followed by speedpaint haze blue, followed with re picking out highlights in white.

At this point decals were added from my collection of old rubicon and warlord decals.  using both micro sol decal solutions, before the winter weathering dry brush and sponge stippling. Again the the lower parts of the walkers was coated in neat agrax earthshade, before a final white dry brush.
