Draconis: Spring Clean 2026 (Fallout) and Onward

Slow again, but I did get in some good progress on these two over the last few days.
Didn’t get many pictures.
They have a lot of straps and belts, so I thought that rather than painting the trousers first and then the straps over I would start out by just painting all the straps in. I used a couple of brown contrasts for this. Then I began to carefully paint in the trousers, in a couple of shades of blue grey.
I also painted in the sleeves, armour plates, boots etc. Then I covered them all with a wash of agrax.
Next up I added weathering to the straps and trousers with a light drybrush, and then repainted and highlighted one of the raiders trousers with lighter stages of blue grey (as the dry brush was untidy). The armour parts were weathered with a red/brown wash in places, followed by an orange wash, then stippling and highlighting with silver. Started on the pink hair on one too.
Close now, I added in detail on the gas mask, hair, other chaps hair, gun etc etc. Lots of little add on stages but eventually they were done….
