House Orlock Rev Their Engines For New Edition Of Necromunda

House Orlock are the next of the gangs from Necromunda to get their new plastic kits for the new edition of the game. Two new sets of miniatures are on the way, alongside a new Underhive Journal to match those from House Goliath and House Escher.

Orlock Road Warriors // Necromunda

We start with the very Mad Max-esque Road Warriors for the Orlocks. As guardians of many of the trade routes to Hive Primus as well as the many ratruns within the hive itself, House Orlock needs experts to take on the job. That's where the Road Warriors come in.

This set gives you a great set of specialists for House Orlock covering Road Shooters, Engineers, Enforcers and Blasters. They can be armed with a mix of weapons that range from industrial equipment like hammers and welders through to shotguns, boltguns and more. There's even a plasma gun in there for the brave (or foolhardy). These folks are just missing some spray paint on their faces and they're primed for a Mad Max road battle.

You've got your gang and now you need someone to bring them together. This is where the Orlock Road Sergeants & Cyber-Mastiffs set comes in.

Orlock Road Sergeants & Cyber-Mastiffs // Necromunda

This represents your best warriors, a band of hard-as-nails enforcers who make sure everyone does as they're told. This allows you to make your Road Captain, the leader of your gang, alongside five Road Sergeants and then a pair of Cyber-Mastiffs that will hunt down sneaky enemies who think they've got away!

Again, I really like the look of these new Orlock miniatures. The design team seem to have doubled down on the idea of them being very Mad Max/Biker Gang and I think it's great. Maybe they could be the equivalent of Hive Primus' Hell's Angels?

Last but not least, we had something a bit special for the Orlocks in the form of the Orlock Ogryn Minders.

Orlock Ogryn Minders // Necromunda

When you need extra muscle, turn to an Ogryn. These head-breakers are more than willing to get stuck in, follow orders without question, and get some neat kit to play with at the same time for their effort.

The two Ogryn minders can be armed with ripper guns, knuckledusters and mauls. There is also a terrifying spud-jacker which many a Goliath will be aware of. You can also customise them in lots of ways, including heads, shoulder pads, loincloths, and even their hardened metal toe caps! I can already see some great narratives building around one of these bodyguards for your Orlock leader.

New Underhive Journal

Along with the new miniatures, we also have a new Underhive Journal for House Orlock, the House of Iron.

Orlock: The House of Iron // Necromunda

Much like the previous Underhive Journals for Escher and Goliath, this will come with expanded rules for using Orlocks on the tabletop during your campaigns. The Journals aren't needed for you to play with your gang of choice but they do come with a few extras which can enhance your games.

This will include two new gang subtypes for you to consider. The Outriders can customise their vehicles and earn legendary names whilst the Wrecking Crews do what it says on the tin, scrapping the Underhive bit by bit with demolition charges, jump boosters and heavy weaponry.

You'll also find Orlock-specific skills, tactics, side jobs and more. You can still access loads of skills and side jobs in the main book but this just adds an extra level of Orlock spice to proceedings.
