Archon Studio are going to be bringing yet another hit game to Gamefound soon. Quake is the next game on their radar, with a new board game on the way featuring a cooperative dungeon-crawling mode and a PvP experience too.

As mentioned above, the idea is to bring the Quake experience to the tabletop. The cooperative dungeon crawling mode will see one to four players facing off against the cybernetic monsters known as the Stroggos and other eldritch horrors that are happy to rip you apart.

The game will also feature a Deathmatch PvP mode, which will be fun for those who remember Quake as more of a frantic, brutal competitive first-person shooter experience. As is the way with the traditional Quake experience, you'll be looking to survive by picking up power-ups, upgrading your arsenal of weapons by rushing around the arena and then using your skills to blast your foes into little pieces.

You'll also get a whole bunch of miniatures representing the "heroes" and the villains from Quake.

Heading on over to the Gamefound campaign now and signing up will get you the Legendary Ranger miniature. You can also go and take a look at what's going to be part of the Core Box offering for the game right now, so you can make a bit more of an informed choice.

Was Quake one of the games that you played a lot when you were younger?
