Medbury Miniatures Bring Cesaro’s Conquistadors To Kickstarter

Medbury Miniatures have been teasing their new Kickstarter campaign that is just around the corner. The aim with Cesaro's Conquistadors is to bring some excellent 28/32mm figures to Historical wargames (and maybe more...) for use in rank and flank-style battles and skirmishes too.

The Kickstarter will offer 3D printable STL files for your miniatures as well as pre-printed options for those who don't have access to a 3D printer at home. This has been a personal project for Medbury Miniatures that has been in the works since 2023! The campaign will contain plenty of personalities to lead your Conquistadors as well as the rank and file that you'll need for your expeditions.

There will be several options for you to choose from, which will include soldiers with pikes, those with sword and shield, musketeers, cavalry, great weapons and more. You'll also note the character figures at the front of the image above who look very dashing indeed.

The hope is that this campaign will also help fund a bunch of additional miniatures for your Conquistador-style adventures on the tabletop, either in a Historical setting or perhaps in a Fantasy one (Lustria anyone?). Did you notice the small fellows and the larger lumbering chap?
It shouldn't be long until this project hits Kickstarter, where you'll be able to get your hands on the miniatures either digitally or physically. As with pretty much all of Medbury's stuff, it will also be available on their website later on down the line.

They look like the Warhammer Fantasy Empire miniatures that never got released – the ones that were used in the Lizardmen vs Estalia diorama by Mike McVey. I think I will be backing this
These look lovely. I’m sworn off Kickstarter atm but perhaps the files will be available after that.
His Aussies all came out in metal and STL’s after.
Looks like a great Kickstarter, Medbury has been posting stuff in Discord and there are more Ogre sculpts.
