My first model in this summer’s army: Great Unclean One: Fat smelly Lord.

Llyod’s view 😉

Big thanks to Duncan Rhodes tutorial clip.
2 more characters finished for wander: cult of barnacle bay. That makes 10 of the 17 finished.

Back to painting some Konflikt 47 after a brief hiatus. A little air support for my USMC.
“Deuces Wild”
other recent updates in my project log.

@chaosgorka I don’t know what that little blue rabbit/teddy bear looking thing is, but there is something very rude about the huge white pair of roundish things hanging between its legs. Possibly not one to pull up on the next weekender Warren is on.
The veteran squad for my Dark Angels 5th Battle Company.

No-one knew where they came from – the mysterious Death Strike Frigate translating into realspace with only ancient clearance codes and on a direct trajectory with the old site of the Death Strike Fortress Monastery on Nihilas.
Upon interception, a variety of seemingly active and fresh Marines, albeit with older non-standard equipment, had only just come from the killing fields of the moons of Teekus and were returning “home”. It soon became apparent that this was a frigate not out of space, but out of time. The Warp having cast the Death Strikes history 2000 years into an unfamiliar future. The first to pass muster into the current Chapter was the Techmarines they carried onboard – more due to the need for armourers in the Chapter. Eyebrows were raised at their pragmatic weaponry, prosaic tools, and trophies of Xenos hands affixed to their pauldrons, but their ability in making derelict systems and damaged weaponry come to life more than made up for the differences in tradition…

Done – group of 3 Techmarines (On 32mm bases and some slate to make them fit better amongst all these chunky new guys) – Not sure how I’ll use them in games, but who cares? Nice to have someone to look after the old Land Speeder. It’s not like Cawl has given the Primaris any Technical training…

I completed the second of my Scylla Cousins with pistols. More pictures on the project blog;

Part of my trying to find a space marine chapter I like series, over in the projects, I’m only 2 posts in but it’s progress. This is the first and second space marine that I have attempted to paint in 20+ years 🙂
I really need to paint quicker. Any tips on painting marines will be appreciated.

More for the Corps:
