The docks
Plastic pins look alright.Plastic pins look alright.

I had some old packaging pieces that I thought would make good dock sides. I added some leftovers from other kits. I want to create some different tabletops. The suburban sanctuary. The docks. Downtown Boston and a more open freeway area so I can theme my games

I’m not a fan of the mat provided for the game with a road cutting through the middle so I thought I’d rework my old citadel boards. I last used them for terminator because of all the skulls it fits apocalyptic games and not much else. I painted a road on it years ago so looking at the fallout world I decided to make something more 3D using some plastic bases I don’t need.

Painted up

Got to work on the interior with some texturing and adding some rubble. I painted one house yellow and the other blue using the game for reference. I then added some TTcombat furniture.

I thought I’d give etsy a go for finding some themed scenery. Atomic games do some great looking fallout scenery. When it arrived they were without instructions so I had a bit of a jigsaw to put together.

The kits come with wall sections that are in two halves, interior and exterior that are glued together. This gave the windows some depth and the interior is detailed which I love. The tiles are time consuming but looks great.

I’m going to have fun adding details to the interior of the two buildings I picked up and added a car port to one. I have given the buildings a spray and started some of the base colours.

More themed scenery

I picked up some more scenery this time the computer terminals. I went for the green text look on the monitors. The wall mounted computer i just stuck on with blu tack so I can remove it. I thought I’d see how these piece look inside the prison I recently put together for the walking dead. I printed off a couple of posters on to card and used tack on them also so everything is removable.

Adding some themed pieces.

I picked up the barricade set and Nuka Cola vending machines. Sticking them next to my home built and converted scenery just puts you straight in the world. I aim to get a few more pieces like this such as terminals for hacking because they make good objectives.
