As part of this week's Cult Of Games XLBS, we dive into a discussion about tabletop terrain and the ways that people build their tabletops. We also discuss some interesting rules that could make good use of terrain to make games feel more dynamic and interesting.

It's OTT Weekender time! In this episode, we're looking at a HUGE wargame that is absolutely free for you to dive into. If you've wanted to get stuck into some Weird Wild West wargaming or a set of rules that cover Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Near Future settings, Gangfight Games and Blackwater Gulch are well worth looking at.

Mantic Games are getting stuck into their Kings Of War campaign and perhaps drawing more people into playing this Fantasy wargame. With that in mind, it would be very handy to have some free rules, wouldn't it? Well, Ronnie dropped an update saying they're doing just that.

Colours 2023, the wargaming show that is coming up this weekend, will mark the first time that you'll be able to pick up the 28mm American Civil War terrain range from Warbases. These could be a nice match to the American Civil War miniatures we've seen pop up from 1st Corps perhaps?

Seb Games are now taking pre-orders for their new Starter Set for the game Exo Alliance '42. This is a game where World War II gets weird and you can throw some Pulpy Sci-Fi elements into the midst of your Historical armies from the period.
