I think I might have sorted getting most, but not all, of my The Damned pledge. The TLDR on this is that it is a crowd funded campaign that is nearly 2 years late and communication is lacking. Someone reported on the Gamefound comments that they had put an order in with Sarissa who, because they have been hired to do the fulfillment, are able to send any outstanding pledge with an order. My pledge is held up because a couple of Death Fields sprues are out of stock and the molds are still en-route from the US to the UK. Having spoken to them they have agreed to send as much of my pledge as they have with a couple of their kits that I ordered today. Should be here on Thursday. Well done Sarissa – great service.

That’s always the worst reason. “Yeah, almost everything is here but because we don’t want/can spend extra money on shipping we’ll wait longer”.
But great service with SP.
April 22, 2026 at 6:38 pm #1972049I live in a one-bedroom condo so my hobby space is limited. However, my wife is also an avid gamer and crafter, so our whole apartment probably looks like what most people would call their dedicated gaming space.
Since we don’t have much space, I try to keep things as tidy as possible, and we have two very rambunctious cats so I don’t leave hobby projects out when I’m not actively working on them. I have one of those Frontier Wargaming painting boxes, which is great — I can set it up and put it away in seconds, and it’s got space for most of my paints, brushes, assorted bits like extra bases, and most importantly, it’s got room for several in-progress miniatures on painting stands. I keep the rest of my supplies and in-progress stuff in a handy Ikea cabinet.

April 23, 2026 at 3:14 am #1972107I’m in the middle of moving locations , 350 kms further north . Been moving all my stuff in a mini van a couple of times a week . Put more miles on car in the past 3 weeks than last 2 years . Decided I can use the 8 ft X 8 ft den as a bed room and use the 16 X 14 bedroom as hobby room . Spent the last few days unpacking and figuring out how to sort my reference books , by size , by subject or by series . After a couple of false starts decided on subject , so I now have 5 shelves packed with books . Next was unpacking and repairing , if needed , my collection of 28mm tanks . Got about half unpacked , and so far a couple of loose seated figures from transports and a broken axle on an 3D print artillery piece . I made the decision long ago to make antennas and AA mgs removable so no problems there . Standing firm on not starting any new kits of tanks or troops till my hobby room is sorted . And then a box of Warlord’s new Japanese land in my mailbox ………

That’s the sort of decision we can all get behind 😀
I’m planning something similar. When my house sells I’m moving back to London and wherever I end up will be a lot smaller than here. I’m therefore going to make the same sensible decision and prioritise my hobby space over anything else. There isn’t anyone to tell me I can’t as there is just me and the dog and she isn’t a voting member 🙂
April 24, 2026 at 1:09 pm #1972218Happy Friday everyone. The Damned arrived yesterday afternoon. They are very good sprues with loads of options and I’m going to enjoy building and painting them at some point. Sarissa were very helpful. Rather like WA, I won’t be engaging with crowdfunding again. 118 miniatures into the collection. Shiny syndrome beats consequential thinking every time 😀

The game uses a card for each miniature to manage activation and interaction and the cards are included in the book for you to photocopy or *shock/horror* cut out.
