Aren’t modern mechanics simply IT folk covered in oil and grease ? All the joys of computers and the dirt … nope, not me.
You’d need to specialize in things from the 80’s at best to get something without computers …

There is something very satisfying about physically building stuff. Or failing that … watching someone competent do it.
(and see them make mistakes so you know they’re still human)

Yeah … old tech may be great a concept, but then reality reminds you why we went the digital route.

It was good to see @sundancer making so much progress with the ‘Nids last night.  Admittedly I did only join for the final 20 minutes but he’d done jolly well.  Go juice!

Here I’ve finished the last of the command miniatures for my Dogs of War.  Only one unit left.  I’m rather excited about getting my SCC project finished and onto the table.  I was planning on inviting someone over to play but have decided to be selfish and fight their first engagement solo.  At least I’ll win 🙂

Newly painted miniatures always get utterly spanked on their first outing and it would be dispiriting to have that witnessed by someone else.

It was a bit of a chore to be honest XD And now that I’ve also washed the 4 bits I missed on stream I can start painting the tester. Maybe tomorrow. Tonight is game night.

Thursday. I can almost smell the weekend.

Been out of town for a few days and got zero hobby done.

Back home now. Weather cold and wet. Don’t feel like going out, but I like to get at least 8k steps per day and preferably 10k+.

I’m two to three weeks ahead of my campaign prep, but want to get next one started.

Fashionably late to the party and with good reason. I’m finally employed again and getting up well before the ass crack of dawn is rough. Hobby is steady-ish. I taught SAGA to absolute newbies last weekend and hopefully they come in for another game tomorrow. Life has gotten better and I’m glad to share it with you all
