Kara’s Last Stand Limited Edition

New from Studio McVey and limited to 400 models, Kara's Last Stand will be available to those attending Triples Wargames Show this weekend.

This is a marvellous peice of scuplting, but then we have come to expect no less from Studio McVey.

What do you think guys?

I think it’s too bad I’m not going to the show! That’s a great looking mini and like most of the others in his Sedition Wars range, it would make a great character model for a sci-fi RPG.

Triples is a local show for me and always managed to miss it in the past! DOH
I hope to go tomorrow but can’t guarantee that I will make it.

Hopefully some will be left over and go on general sale…well not likely but I can hope eh?

Having bought a number of the McVey resins and also picked up one of the metal sedition war figures I have to say that the resins are very much worth the extra price they have due to their limited edition status.

The metals are absolutely brilliant but the resins blow them away!

Do the limited edition figures all eventually get cast in metal please?
There was a super “elf” walking down some stairs, which looked stunning.
Missed the boat on the resin and would settle for a metal version.

Sadly not, it has just been the Sedition Wars stuff which came out first as limited edition resin casts then went into full metal production.

Their actual Limited Edition range is just that, limited number runs in resin.

I know the mini you’re talking about, I was very lucky to get one, McVey had just sold out and after telling the tale of woe about missing it someone told me that the Cool-Mini-Or-Not store had a couple so I got one shipped back over.

Though they aren’t cheap so I’ve only ever bought the couple that I really liked after that little escapade I’ve made sure to check the McVey site regularly just in case.
