I am about to receive my kikstarter stuff and can wait to star playing this game 😛
Oups sorry Start not star lol
Same here, bring on first week of April! 🙂
Just rat burgers & taco bell?
sound a good way to get any nasty opponents.
When was this recorded? Outlaw changed how the LIfeblood works for all heavy support units. Now it is just one giant stat line, not broken into categories like what they are showing on the cards. The new way is better in my estimation.
About 16 Months ago with WWX week. I really dont like the way BoW is handling their..
.otherwise awesome…content and this is a prime example why. Instead of getting it out in a reasonably timely fashion to benefit all involved…they use it as “filler materlial” as they see fit….and sometimes seem to forget about it completely. In this case even made it completely useless because as you explained reallity overtook this series a long time ago. Sadly they seem to do this to most of those serialized content 🙁
Out of curiosity how would you approach scheduling the content.
Remember there is only so much content you can show in a week (or month) and you have to cover a lot of games. (Also you might only get the folks in to film once in the year)
This stuff was all created as a month by month series.
I’m asking because we have been looking at this very challenge (get more out faster, but try not to overload the schedule or push other stuff out for too long)
Ohh and remember there aren’t too many of us so if it goes out too fast we won’t be able to keep up 🙂
Hi warzan!
First of I really think that the content is great…and I have no clue about how much work it needs to get it done! And second…this will be lousy english…but you asked ;-P
So my guess is that you and outlaw want to get as much attention from viewers as possible for the game/content. As a viewer I want fantastic crack aka great minis/paint jobs/game system infos ect. For you as a producer its a lot of work to deliver high quality. For all that the WWX week was awesome! So much in fact that I droped quite some cash in the KS for a game I never played!!! Your fault! 🙂 So goal achieved happy days for all. Now you have 3 types of viewers and the tricky part starts:
1 – Hooked (like me) and wants more crack NOW!!!
2 – On the fence and needs more info to decide or something else will take the time/intrest/money or what ever.
3 – not interested….end of story.
Now you have a pile of content that needs a lot of time/work to get out and because you cant lift that much at once decide to make it a monthly series. (If I understood you correct that is) Nr. 1 is disapointed and got the crack elsewhere instead and has no need for the show anymore. Nr. 2 has moved on to something else or followed Nr. 1. That in return would mean you get much less attention for the series then possible/you expected…which does not make you happy for all the hard work involved. So really no one is happy anymore. Again…simplefied wild guess…could be wrong.
So how to make more out of this: To max out on the hype that those awesome themed weeks great without a doubt it has to be a weekly (shorter) or bi-weekly (longer) show roughly in the following 4-8 weeks or so. That might mean to produce to a lower standard to speed things up and try not to overlapp projekts. Right now its 4 of those series if I do recall correct (never clear if there still is a series). WWX/KoW/Warzone/Wolsung? Ideal would be to finish one bevor the other starts. In a way those weeks and following series would be larger focal points of content for a short time rather then small parts over a long time. Instead of stretching 4 series over 1 to 1 and 1/2 year give each a couple of months. At least from my point as a consumer.
I personaly would like that aproach much more because I get much more out of it. If this is even possible for you to do is something I have no clue.
Sorry for the wall of text. And to be clear…nothing is meant in an agressiv/offending way…just trying to squeeze my thoughts in the wrong language 🙂
