So DAK are that yellow-ish sand colour too ?
Or can we do them in green-ish colour that I think I’ve seen for German uniforms ?

Just sticking this here as a point of interest for any British player that wants to explore the Indian forces. This is an order of battle for the 4th Indian Division. Not too much detail but it gives you an idea of what units made up the division and then leaves you free to go off and explore the units attached the the Div during the North African deployment.
I think one of the best things you can read about the desert war us Spike Milligan’s ‘Hitler my part in his downfall’ His first meeting with Harry Secombe seems typical of his experience
t was in North Africa, during WWII, as Gunner Milligan, 954024, that Spike first met Harry Secombe. The circumstances of their meeting were only narrowly non-fatal. Milligan’s 25-pounder gun jumped out of its placement due to recoil, and ran down the hill narrowly missing another gun unit. Spike went down the hill and asked, “Has anyone seen a gun?” One of the men in the other gun unit said, “What colour?” It was Harry Secombe.

I’ve had a look at the armoured unit attached to 4th Inf Div and the only one that matches in terms of dates and locations is 42 RTR. Above are some pictures I found of the unit, the top is supposedly on the outskirts of Tobruk 24th Nov 1941 and the bottom one is training in the UK in 1940. So Matildas’ are the way to go for armour.
Also, does anyone know what the vehicle in the background of the bottom photo is? It looks like a mock up to me, the front turret looks like it might have come off a Rolls Royce armoured car.
@irishsteve now that would be interesting to see!
@oriskany, I really enjoyed the themed play at the FoW boot camp so would happily be part of another, more focused campaign.
I initially thought so @torros, but then doubted myself as the back end seems too squared off. Then there’s the weird box at the back.

I was wondering at this which is a Vickers Mk II with a modification for observers during tests or something . The rear end looks right. Checking on different variations there were some were extra space was added for extra radios for command tanks

Found it @torros, a Vickers medium tank Mkll. It went out of service in 1935, obviously after Dunkirk they grabbed anything that hadn’t been scrapped and pressed it into service.
How many guns on that though, it’s almost like it was built by Ork meks
