As a father I couldn’t be more proud!
…even if the final result isn’t the most perfect paint job! ?

And yes…they had glitter applied on them!
Finally, as requested on the Weekender, some videos!

Cheers and stay safe!

@bighagar Thanks for sharing those great vids and the huge smile your kids brought to my face. I think the sequined dress is what really makes it for me.
Always fashionable! ?
I’ve made more progess on minis:
3 man Unit of Vassal Reavers for the Aerternus Continuum from Warcaster

and I’ve started laying down some base colours on my 100 Kingdoms

I also played through all of Mice and Mystics solo:
The heroes of Barksburg:

The final map, with all my heroes safely escaped the castle via the sewers

Flower Witch. 95% done and 95% Contrast. Still blown away by how versatile (and quick!) contrast can be.

Not only lockdown here, I’m also on a sick leave for back problems. So I can’t stay at the workbench, and cannot paint. So today I went for a Judge Dredd solo game (the Graveyard Shift campaign). Those punks were caught red-handed killing an innocent citizen! A Hottie dealer!
The perps paid dearly for their misdeeds!

I’m making (and playing) a cyberpunk rpg-type skirmish game. Testing so far is going great ( @sundancer you don’t know what you’re missing!)
“We should totally make a deck of cards for choosing actions and selecting players”
“Yeah, that sounds cool”
“You really should make them machine readable so they’ll work with your app”
“Wow, that sounds like a lot of hard work (for me)”
Anyway…. this happened:

And a little laser cutting later, we had a card stand

Which looked quite nice when it was all put together

But just looked flipping awesome when it worked!

Here’s the full run-through of the first few cards we made:

Now…. whose turn is it?
@darkvernon nice board! Love me some Judge Dredd!
So, finally finished the bases – I went for the simple desert scheme since that’s where Mando always seems to go back to! On the table they look pretty good – in pictures….. not so much! Really need to learn how to take a decent photo. Also, the post is p[laying silly buggers with the pics, and trying to stretch everything to insane widths – so, yeah, sorry about that!

Back (no butt-shot – sorry):
Project is here: Linky
Any feedback or critique on the blog is always appreciated!
Great work on thise cards and card reader!

One model built to completion.
Askar warriors for Beyond the Gates of Antares by Warlord Games. My first attempt at using color shifting paints.

@blinky465 you are an electronics marvel!
I have some lab golems and a golem servant ready to hit the game table. I will add more pictures to the project blog as well.

@144artist – these automata are lovely! Where are they from? If 3D prints are they available to buy printed anywhere?
