Forgot the armageddon box existed, but 40k is just not something that interests me.

    no worries.
I’m in it for the Orkses myself. I doubt I’d ever have the patience required to play 40k itself (too much mental headspace required), but I do like the plastic kits.

I’m having so much fun with my coding project thanks to Claude.
I also discovered that I wasn’t the first one to think of the name I chose.
Now I really need an icon that looks good, although it isn’t really needed.
AI is really good with code, but it does suck at anything artistic (it can’t create after all) and I lack the inspiration to find something useful at the moment.

Anyways … while I’m waiting for Claude to do my bidding
I noticed that the tracking for the package got updated and it is claiming ‘today’ I will get my goodies.
(it’s after midnight and there’s a thunderstorm outside while I’m writing this so … )
Positive waves … the world needs more of them, so I do my best to send them 😀

Lorescape has a kickstarter for their new space-themed hexagon tiles.
    https://lorescape.gg/get/

And on their livestream prior to launch they also mentioned they’re doing a Battletech themed set ‘soon’ licensed by CGL.
I hope they’ve covered their assets because I can’t imagine that going well … otoh … it’s not CGL doing anything so it might just succeed without any issues and without missing the deadline by a few parsecs.

@limburger  Glad your Armageddon box arrived.  Do show us how you get on once you’ve started on it.

Here I’ve written a supplement book (army codex for the 40k fans) to go with my SCC Dogs of War.  I’ve saved a pdf of it on the project blog here:

    https://www.ontabletop.com/project-entry/1977870/

That’s basically my SCC finished now.  I’ll post a summary entry tomorrow to give it a final flourish.  I’m very happy with how everything went.

To anyone still working on theirs: You can do it – just keep picking up those brushes!

    progress ? me ? 😀
It’s been too hot to think.

    I’ve opened the box.
Somehow there isn’t a lot of plastic inside. It feels small.

There’s a lore booklet, which is nice.
It has lots of examples of spac marines chapter colours … which is interesting as it proves there’s more than the smurfs, wolves and those others.
It has zero examples for Orkses. They get half a paragraph and a glyph.
There’s a few ork banner glyphs, but it is not nearly as much as the humies who get a typical uniform spread.

Not sure what I was expecting, but I kind of wished it was more 50/50 … as chaotic as Orks are I would have wanted some practical examples that weren’t the studio armies of the big 4. Especially when the canned morons get soo much more.
